Former Kindergarten teacher, Ann Echols came in today to introduce an initiative to have Kids Initiating Shelter Support.

We learned about homeless people and the challenges they face. Ann asks us to invite you to donate used adult and children's clothing, particularly warm clothing and toiletries.

Great items would be:
Warm hats
Fleeces
Rain pants
Ski jackets
Scarves
Mittens/gloves
Socks
Toothbrushes
Combs
Deodorants
Face cloths
Shampoo
Soap

Our field trip permission forms for Maplewood Farm vanished overnight and I NEED you all to fill out a new one. Please take a moment to do so this afternoon at pickup time. I will have a stack.

Fieldtrip Forms

Please return the green Maplewood Farm fieldtrip forms as soon as possible.  Right now I only have drivers for 7 children so volunteers would be greatly appreciated.

Outdoor school open house

Please consider visiting the North Vancouver Outdoor School Open House in Brackendale on Sunday May 5th.  It is a great place offering canoeing, archery, and farm, fishery, and forest experiences.  All North Vancouver students attend in later years and it builds confidence and comfort if they have early experiences there.
